Wild Sea Expedition was born from our endless passion for fishing and traveling to wild and unknown destinations, specializing in saltwater fishing since 2012. We are a crew of explorers who have been among the first anglers to fish a number of remote areas across the Red Sea, including Sudan, Eritrea, Saudi Arabia, and Djibouti, as well as the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean, exploring Yemen and Socotra to discover destinations far beyond the typical tourist routes. Today, with more than 12 years of experience exploring new frontiers across the Indian Ocean and around the world, we continue to seek out exceptional fisheries in the planet’s most untouched waters.

In the Arabian Sea – where the Gulf of Aden opens towards the Indian Ocean – lies an island belonging to the territory of Yemen named Socotra. Hosting few tens of thousands people, being so far off land and with very peculiar climate conditions, the island is home to a huge variety of endemic species that makes it among the most biodiverse land formations on earth. Wild Sea Expedition have been guiding here for some years already, bringing anglers from all over the planet to discover a real gem when it comes primarily to throwing sticks and poppers for giant GT. Its marine life overall though is just a Mecca for a whole array of different techniques, from bait to jigging, fly and light spinning. The local fishing community thrives thanks to the richness of the sea and this is why regulations have been put in place to preserve it. WSE have established ties with this community over the years, managing to start guiding operations in one of the most remote fishing destinations.
