Patented and proven on the market for over two years, Pescevivo is a unique trolling weight designed to “animate” dead baitfish, making them swim with an incredibly lifelike, enticing action. Available in three different sizes (40g, 60g, 80g), it allows rigging of baitfish of various lengths and weights, making it suitable for many trolling situations.

Recommended baits: Needlefish, Mullet, Mackerel, Horse Mackerel, Saury, Sand Smelt.

Design & Structure
Pescevivo consists of two main parts:
Support cradle – holds the baitfish securely.
Conical keel – generates realistic swimming action.

The conical keel is mounted at the front, angled towards the bait’s tail. Two integrated pins pierce and hold the bait, while the cradle provides four anchoring points that are secured with a small elastic band. The front hole connects to the main line via a swivel snap, and the rear hole connects to the leader.

Rigging the Bait
Position the baitfish head into the cradle and secure it by inserting the pins through the skull bones. Lock it in place with the elastic band across the cradle’s four hooks. This setup keeps the bait stable and perfectly aligned for natural swimming.

Swimming Action
When properly mounted, the bait swims in a lifelike manner, maintaining balance and tail-beating action. Before trolling, test its swim beside the boat to ensure correct alignment and adjust if needed.

Pro Tips
For best results, remove the bait’s backbone with a deboner tool. Insert it through the gills, slide it along the spine, and cut at the tail before extraction. This makes the bait far more flexible and realistic in the water.

Pescevivo works with all trolling techniques – surface trolling, with downrigger, with guardian weight, or monel wire.
Depending on the line diameter and amount of line out, Pescevivo will make the bait swim 1–3 meters below the surface.
