Major Craft First Jig Long is an elongated metal jig, specially designed for deep sea fishing, particularly for fast vertical jigging techniques.
Thanks to its profiled and thin shape, it is ideal for fishing requiring a rapid descent and aggressive animation.
This lure is particularly effective for targeting fast and powerful predators such as amberjack, tuna and snappers , particularly in conditions of strong currents or at great depth.

The First Jig Long models are armed with front-located assist hooks, which are reinforced to withstand powerful fights with big fish.
These hooks are designed to maximize catch rate on deep strikes. Their placement at the front of the jig optimizes the grip of fish which often attack from the head.
