HPA PROFESSIONAL GRADE EMERGENCY TEFLON COATED AIR/WATER RESCUE KNIFE SMJ
Rescue knife and emergency professionals from the sea and the mountains, the SMJ RESCUE AW (Air / Water) is specifically designed to cut ropes (including towing hawsers or bits of very large diameter). Already adopted by many rescuers and firefighters GRIMP (Group for Research and Intervention in Perilous Environment).
420 steel blade thickness 3 mm to prize, and sheepfoot profile (without tip) to limit the risk of injuries and puncture tires. Denture very specific HPA: wide teeth (easily be sharpened) and very procumbent (strong cutting power).
The Teflon coating protects against corrosion and increases the slip of the blade during cutting of thick section materials. Shackle integrated notching on the back of the blade to prevent slippage of the thumb.

The case of SMJ knife was also particularly worked. It is reversible and designed to fit in all positions on almost all types of media: stabilizing jackets, life jacket, harness, backpack, belt, forearm … The elastic strap secures the knife in its case to avoid loss during reversed ports.
