Wedged between two swivel eyes is a super sharp dropshot hook. To one end you would tie you mainline, and to the other your ‘drop’ line – leading down to your weight. The length of this can vary to suit your application. Not only does this make rigging more simple but it means that you can leave the hook attached to your line while messing with drop lengths etc below it, without re-rigging.
