The Tournament Basiair Z45QD is the most advanced Big-Pit reel ever developed by Daiwa. A natural evolution of the famous Basiair, this model integrates the best of Japanese technologies to deliver superior performance in all fishing conditions.

The Air Metal body and Zaion rotor ensure a solid yet incredibly lightweight structure. The inside of the reel is protected by Mag Sealed technology, which prevents the ingress of water and impurities while maintaining fluidity over time.

Equipped with a 45 mm spool, the Basiair Z45QD enables long and accurate throws with minimal effort. The Quick Drag (QD) system enables instant clutch control, which is critical when every second makes a difference.

The one-piece, CNC-machined aluminum crank, combined with the EVA knob, ensures direct power transmission and optimal comfort even in longer sessions. Every detail has been taken care of to provide immediate response, smooth rotation and reliable durability over time.
