The Seaborg G400JL Tough Light Monster represents the state of the art in electric reels, designed for anglers facing the toughest challenges at sea. An improvement of the already reliable Seaborg 400J, this model incorporates the new Magmax-G motor, capable of offering up to 4 times the durability of its predecessors while maintaining immediate response and impressive recovery force.

Weighing only 600 grams, the Seaborg G400JL is light and maneuverable, perfect for long fishing sessions and ideal for Slow Electric Jigging. Ergonomics are at an all-time high thanks to the aluminum JOG Power Lever system, which allows you to control the reel with just your thumb, even with wet hands. This reel is perfectly suited for deep-sea jigging and for targeting Red Snappers, Dentex with live bait. The high-visibility LCD display, is readable even in the sun, or with polarized glasses.

Featuring 12 ball bearings and a “Jog” lever, that allows you to engage the retrieve with your thumb while maintaining excellent rod grip.

By moving the power lever to the center of the body and changing its shape, from a lever to a jog dial style, you can use the thumb of the hand holding the rod, to control the retrieve and engage, or disengage the clutch. This completely frees up the other hand, so you can use it exclusively to handling the rod. Free operation with just your thumb allows for delicate operation of the lever, for precise and immediate adjustments, and allows you to control the winding speed at will.

Equipped with special, neodymium magnets, this sliding-brush motor has been designed to offer maximum responsiveness and durability. It provides explosive power when needed, but also perfect control at low speeds, hence it is ideal for slow and progressive recovery. Compared with the previous MagMax, the durability is 4 times longer.

JOG LEVER POWER
The power lever has been moved to the center of the reel body and redesigned in a jog dial style, allowing control of retrieval and clutch engagement/disengagement with only the thumb of the hand holding the rod. This completely frees up the other hand, which can then devote itself exclusively to handling the stem.
One-finger control allows precise and immediate adjustments, making it possible to manage recovery extremely smoothly and naturally.
