DAIWA Light And Tough Spinning Reel 18 GEKKABIJIN MX LT – 1000S-P
The Gekkabijin MX are DAIWA’s new reels dedicated to ultra-light fishing techniques, both at sea and in fresh water.
Light and sturdy, they are equipped with body and rotor made of DS4, a carbon-based material, thus totally corrosion-free. Great reliability and durability are ensured by Magsealed technology: this system uses a special magnetized oil membrane to protect the internal mechanics from dirt, water and salt, extending the reel’s longevity.
High mechanical performance is ensured by as many as 7 ball bearings (including one CRBB with anti-corrosion technology) and oversized Tough Digigear gears for better power transfer.
The spool is ABS Long Cast aluminum: the special shape of the upper edges reduces friction with the air and ensures longer casts
