TROKAR Saltwater Tuna Fishing HD Offset Circle Magnum Hook TK619H

No 1 hook choice among worldwide tuna professional captains and crew.

Eagle Claw TroKar 619H Magnum Circle Offset Hooks are easily one of the most impressive hooks to come out of the Eagle Claw TroKar manufacturing plant since debuting the surgically sharpened technology, the TK619 line of hooks is aimed at anglers looking for a beefier, more robust circle hook to use with their heaviest gear. Available in medium wire or heavy wire, the TK619 offers the stopping power and backbone to haul in the strongest halibut and game fish in the sea. TroKar has also added a ringed version to both the medium and heavy wire “619.”

The most impressive aspect of the TK619 is the surgically sharpened point. Never before has a point this sharp and durable been achievable on such a heavy wire diameter. Designed and manufactured in Denver, Colorado, the surgically sharpened point gives anglers 50% faster, deeper, surer penetration with every strike. The three facets of the TroKar point are precisely and symmetrically ground for top performance, using our unique Surgically Sharpened Technology® - no other brand of hooks in the world are made with this technology.

The constantly expanding range of TroKar saltwater hooks will now include the most popular inshore styles and sizes, along with these exciting new offshore offerings. The TroKar saltwater lineup of hooks has seen a wild increase in popularity as today’s serious saltwater anglers experience the improved performance that TroKar is able to deliver.

This technology creates a precision ground,triple-sided point that penetrates with as little as half pressure of other hooks-dramatically increasing strike to hook up ratios.
Surgically Sharpened Technology, or SST, is the term used to describe the one-of-a-kind machinery and manufacturing techniques used to make the TroKar hook. SST comes from the medical field, where the sharpest instruments in the world are developed for all types of medical and veterinary medicine. Lazer TroKar worked hand-in-hand with one of the worlds leading manufacturers of surgical grade needles to develop and engineer a point specifically designed for fishing.

TroKar Saltwater hooks receive special care when it comes to their plating.  We employ a unique and extended plating process that builds an increased layer of protective finishes on the Q741 carbon steel.  These extra layers of corrosion resistant metals help to ensure extended life and fishing time for the TroKar hook when exposed to saltwater.

Indeed, TroKar are hooks are the priciest on the market, and for good reason.  Superior raw materials, a proprietary grinding process that utilizes today’s most advanced technology, enhanced tempering and finishing, B.A.R.B.’s made to hold bait’s longer, and of course the superior and scary sharp point that has made TroKar the go to hook for so many tournament pro’s.  TroKar Freshwater hooks retail for around $7 per pack, while the Saltwater lineup of hooks retails for around $18.

Along with in-house experts, TroKar freshwater hooks were heavily influenced by the techniques and preferred methods of the world’s top Elite Series pro’s. The likes of Skeet Reese, Shaw Grigsby, Rick Clunn, Gerald Swindle, Brent Chapman,+ Jason Williamson, Jonathon VanDam and Scott Martin.  The saltwater line-up was equally influenced by professional anglers such as Addictive Fishing TV host Blair Wiggins, Hook The Future TV host Don Dingman and full time charter captains Dave Kostyo and Mike Ellis.

TroKar hooks are proud to be the only premium brand of fishhooks to be made in the United States of America. Made in Denver, Colorado by a team of dedicated American workers, the TroKar hooks help to employ hundreds and are emblematic of America’s finest craftsmanship and engineering.
